Vista Gin, a new gin company based in Largo, Florida, is proud to announce that one of its flagship products, Soleil, was selected as a gold winner by the Bartender Spirits Awards. This prestigious award’s selection process evaluated spirits based on mixability, balance and versatility, taste, mouthfeel and finish, package, and price. Vista's Sakura gin was selected as a gold winner by the Spring 2024 John Barleycorn Awards Taste Competition earlier this month.
Vista Gin was established with the mission to bring true craft distilling to Florida and beyond, aiming to mirror the success of craft brewing across the nation, and is positioned to meet the growing demand for high-quality, artisanal spirits. Tasting notes about Vista Gin’s Soleil from the judges said, “Subtle, balanced flavors combine in a straightforward expression of classic gin flavors of juniper, fruit, citrus, and mild baking spices. Subtle finish, and pleasant all around making it an easily approachable spirit.”
